I had a great stay at the Shelby Inn. The room was exceptionally clean, with a comfortable bed, hot shower, mini fridge, and microwave. Check-in was easy with keyless entry and clear text communication. The location is perfect… close to downtown Shelbyville, local shops, and great breakfast spots. If you’re looking for a reliable, affordable hotel in Shelbyville, this is it. Highly recommend!
Room was very large, must larger than I had expected actually which was perfect. Balcony, Room, Sheets & Towels were all very clean. Bathroom has a large shower and mirror as well as coffee maker + there’s plenty of space to hang clothes & store them with the wardrobe and closet. Not far from the lake either, as well as shops & restaurants. All and all a very nice place to stay.
I stayed here on the 4th of July, so all the rooms were booked. I had stayed there in previous years and the new owner has updated EVERYRHIBG. My room was beyond comfortable. The room was clean and designed beautifully. The room had a very Airbnb vibe. I loved the entry code access. I text the owner about something and she texted right back. It's in a great location. I will happily stay there again!
Super cute Inn with hotel style rooms. Check-in process went really smooth even though there is no front desk. Communication via text message and email was very easy. Our room had two double beds with four pillows each. There was a small fridge and a microwave. Plenty of towels and a rain shower! Smelled fresh!
We were in town for a wedding and really enjoyed our stay. Loved the hot shower with the rainfall shower head. The bed was very comfortable, grounds were well kept and the room was INCREDIBLY clean. Cleanest room we have stayed in in a quite a while. The customer service was excellent! Loved the texts with updates, reminders and our code to our room. We didn't have to worry about a key card and that was VERY nice! The only recommendation I can share from the critiques of other members in our group (we had people attending the wedding that were in several different rooms) was that they didn't like that the coffee makers were in the bathrooms. Not a huge gripe from me though, it gave me a reason to get down to the diner, Lisa's right up the street for breakfast. I also highly recommend that. Great prices and excellent services and portions.There are also some really nice coffee shops and boutiques within walking distance and the Shelby Inn is very convenient to everything in the area. Highly recommend.
The hotel reception was 5 star service with a 3 room spur of the moment reservation. A true blessing was experienced staying at The Shelby Inn and I would highly recommend staying nightly or having a wedding or event stay here. It is truly lovely and so are the owners and staff. I can't say thank you enough!
Super cute and super convenient! Loved the digital check-in and how clean the rooms were. You can definitely tell they’ve made a lot of great upgrades the last few years! Will be staying again!
